In accordance with the deployment plan of “One Hundred Lecture Teams Give Lectures to Key Enterprises with Millions of Business Income” initiated by Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and People's Government of Jiangsu Province, Wang Weifeng, Deputy Mayor of Xuzhou City and Secretary of Tongshan District Party Committee, delivered a topic lecture on safe production at VV on July 8. In terms of conducting in-depth implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on safe production, he studied related documents with enterprise cadres and employees, and they further exchanged ideas on the detailed implementation of safe production work.
Wang rolled out his lecture from three aspects: How can we gain accurate understandings of the General Secretary Xi Jinping’s requirements for safe production, especially the work safety in Jiangsu; what was the situation of safe production in Tongshan District and the weaknesses; what VV can do to help and what the government would do to support VV.
During the lecture, he summarized the achievements and challenges of safe production faced by Tongshan District in combination with practices and lessons gained from various accidents related to safe production.
The Deputy Major noted that: VV, as a major cross-trade and cross-region enterprise and a national key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization, had made great contributions to the economic and social development of Tongshan District and even the whole Xuzhou City. VV should always attach importance to safe production, strictly observe the requirements of “Four Implementations” (on safety awareness, inspection, rectification and leadership) put forward by General Secretary Xi, and steadily promote the modernization of safe production governance system and capabilities. Besides, VV needed to accelerate the improvement of the enterprise's safety level, pay equal attention to legal production, sound organization and well staffing, increase investment in safe production, and build up safe production standards. VV should focus on the implementation of the safe production responsibility system, which covers training, assessment, reward and punishment applicable to all employees. Moreover, VV should pay close attention to the basic management and the implementation of "Three Simultaneity" system; strengthen the business safety management of employees and outsourcing suppliers; enhance the work and production resumption; upgrade intelligent manufacturing. VV also needed to do a good job on daily prevention and control; strengthen the identification and control of safety threats; investigate and dissolve hidden dangers; enhance safety management of various sources of hazards and hazardous operations. Last but not least, VV was urged to improve emergency handling capabilities, reinforce emergency rescue capacities, and timely report accidents and emergency handling. With all these efforts, VV would significantly upgrade the safe production level, and safe development would become a typical feature of VV.
